"Capitalist vs. Environmentalist"

The Environmentalist claims carbon emissions are growing out of control, and efforts are needed to stop the damage.  The Capitalist presents the point that in this economy, those efforts can wait...It’s about keeping the lights on. Who is right?

“Capitalist vs Environmentalist” is an engaging and humorous workshop presented by a Gen Y and a Baby Boomer, designed to help attendees identify with each character and assist them in reaching a middle ground on how sustainability can not only benefit the community at large, but also their own bottom lines. Topics: Surveys, Differentiation, Sustainability Plan, LEED, Certification, Greenwashing, and Marketing.
 

Joseph Winn M.A. is the President/CEO of GreenProfit Solutions, Inc., an environmental consulting, certification, and marketing firm.  An avid Divemaster with a long resume of hands-on experience including marine mammal rescues and working with conservation groups in Belize and the Galapagos, Joseph still finds time to assist on Board and Advisory positions with several non-profits.  Joseph is the author of dozens of original articles.

Keith Winn is the VP Marketing/COO of GreenProfit Solutions, Inc.  After building and operating a successful nationwide niche insurance firm, and having been an active supporter of environmental organizations and their respective causes since the early 1970’s, marketing Green was a natural step.  Keith, an avid motorcyclist, who volunteers and assists many non-profits, also shares a passion to educate, and does so through his published article series: Average Joe Goes Green. 

The duo have built and presented webinars and in-person presentations for various trade associations and universities. Their understanding of environmental and economic issues helps provide their audiences with an entertaining and fresh perspective on Balancing Business and Sustainability.
