"Water Wars: Rising Demand vs. Diminishing Supply"

Earth’s fresh water supply, crucial to life, is dwindling faster than natural cycles can replenish it. Greater human demand and the effects of global climate change are already giving way to violent clashes that promise to increase in frequency and intensity as water consumers all over the world begin to confront scarcity and compete with each other directly. Water consumption can be categorized in three groups: personal, agricultural, and industrial. In this session, attendees will explore the fine interconnectedness between all water consumers, learn how to identify the three groups, and review steps they can personally take to mitigate usage and prevent loss.
